No Thanks, Hold the Boob Please...................

I am NOT in anyway trying to offend or get anyone fired up, BUT for those women who are thinking about or are breast feeding. While needing to feed your baby in a public place use a blanket or something to hide your boob or go to the bathroom. While trying to enjoy a lunch out yesterday, at a pretty popular restaurant, a baby was crying from another table. Instinctively, I look up and focus in on the baby while at the same time the mother pulls her boob out (she actually lifts her shirt up) at the table and begins feeding her child without covering anything up. Total boob exposure. The family in the booth next to her immediately turned their heads in the other direction away from her and children's faces were red. All I'm saying is, I don't care if you go topless at home, but while in public just cover yourself. I know it is natural and healthy to breast feed your baby, but have respect for others around you. Call me crazy, but I don't want to see a boob while eating with my family.

Boy Oh Boy

Well, the boys have really tested me this week. From writing on walls (yikes) to inventing a new sporting event. I have even threatened the boys with me going back to work -- although I wouldn't do that right now because I love being home with them, but a break is in need.

The new sporting event is called "Pantry Climbing". Yes, you did read that right. They climb the pantry shelves now. I don't have a picture of this yet due to me freaking out thinking that the wire shelves may break. I don't know how much weight these shelves actually will hold, but both the boys are about 40lbs each. The reason for the sudden urge to climb these shelves is I have raised their snacks to the higher shelves due to them helping themselves. The evil snack that they are climbing for ,of all their snacks, seems to be Scooby Doo fruit snacks.

We moved into this house July of last year. Everything is pretty new and I have been a utensil nazi when it comes to markers, crayons, pens, colored pencils and regular pencils staying at the kitchen table at all times. I must also add the spare bedroom upstairs is a play room now. The boys made their way upstairs and I hear a weird nose and think to myself "what are they doing up there". They were making a master piece on their bedroom wall with a pen that they snuck from the kitchen counter. As I am walking up the stairs I hear them say "momma look" they were so proud.............good thing we are painting that room soon and have now decided to use chalk board paint for the lower portion of the wall in case they want to draw on the walls again.

Also, while checking the mail or running outside to get the paper (it takes less than a minute to do this) I have been locked out of the house. It has come to the point now where I have to leave all doors unlocked so if I have to run outside without them or if we are in the yard playing and they take off inside without me I have another way in. They did unlock the front door for me, but I had to ring the door bell a million times and watch them through the window dancing at the chimes or they could have been dancing because I was stuck outside. O.K., I have learned my lesson.

Joshua has decided that he wants to be a streaker. I can't keep underwear on him for anything. He runs outside regularly without having clothes on. I think super glue is in order. Anyone have any tips for this??? Jacob can't stand when the underwear comes off his brother and immediately tells, but by that time Joshua is out the door.

I keep telling myself it's a phase, I mean they are 2 1/2 and look how cute they are. They are just adventurous right???
P.S. Mick, I apologize now for anything your little girl may learn :)

Easter Eggs and 7 Songs

I was just curious to see what other people do with the easter eggs that they colored. SO, what do you do with your eggs when the easter holiday has past? Today I made deviled eggs and egg salad. I guess I could have made potato salad and used the eggs for that too. Is there anything else you could use your eggs for???

Also, Galoot tagged me for seven songs. I hope these do not have to be new songs and I am almost embarrassed to even post what I have been listening too. However, since I was tagged I will do it.....................................................NO LAUGHING AT MY PATHETIC LIST.

1) Lips of an Angel by Hinder: heard this on my way to work Monday evening. Yes, I still listen to Q102 most of the time. Galoot, Hot Hubby and Mick are probably very familier with this radio station considering you usually out grow it by the time you are 15. Sadly I have not. I don't like change.

2) Sexy Back by Justin Timberlake/Timberland: heard this one to on the way to work on Monday. I like Justin Timberlakes songs, don't really care for him that much. Not that I know him just what you hear about him.

3) ABC's on the Toddler Twosome CD: this is a CD we keep in the van and play sometimes when we take the boys somewhere. It's nice because the boys will sing to it. I love to hear them sing :)

4) Mozart Requiem CD: I play this when the boys are drawing or finger painting. They like it and so do I.

That's about all I can think of except for songs from different movies the boys watch.........Just remember, I don't get out much and don't get to listen to much either :). Maybe next time someone tags me I will have a better list.

Boys Crashing After Playing Sunday :)

I meant to include this in my last post.....oops.

Can't Wait Until Next Weekend

Our weekend was a good one, but a little stressful due to some problems we are having with my 18 year old niece -- don't worry no gory details here............. Other than that the weekend was nice even though hot daddy had to work and was on call all weekend.
Time for the weekend run down :)
FRIDAY: we had fun at the boys soccer practice. Little Hottie number 1 is a "ladies man". He tried to flirt with another little girl there. He gave her the best "how you doin" smile, but the little girl rejected it and gave him a dirty look. I however thought this was funny and laughed while the little girls mother gave me a dirty look. Oh WELL!! Another funny thing that made me laugh at practice was with Little Hottie #1 he was running and tripped over his feet, but did not catch himself real well so he ended up with his face in the dirt and just laid there until I picked him up. I will add before my next sentence "he was not hurt or crying". And yes, I received another dirty look from the parents for laughing. Little Hottie #2 was very into practice. Although having to run to the bathroom a few times. Then the chain of events started with my niece "DRAMA".
SATURDAY: Hot Daddy worked all day, so me and the boys hung out here at home. The boys and daddy played outside while I made dinner and then we got the call from one of my sisters and well more DRAMA.
SUNDAY: Woke up to more, let's say this together "DRAMA". However, Hot Daddy was on call, but fortunatley only had to leave for one call. When he got home we all played outside. Hot Daddy did a great job replacing a light fixture on the garage back door and I will add "IT WORKS :)". I'm very proud of him. I didn't even have to nag him to do it. My parents stopped by for a little bit. Then we went back outside to play some more. It was so pretty out yesterday and today as a matter of fact. In the 70's. We orderd pizza for dinner Little Hottie #1 & #2 favorite. Then the boys got baths and crashed on Hot Daddy while I actually got to take a shower.
Well, that was the weekend run down. I need to write more throughout the week. Hopfully next weekend will be without all the other stuff that didn't make this weekend so enjoyable.

Preppy Girl --- does PGirl JR and Galoot JR like board games and books??????? Let me know.

The Things I Hate About Potty Training

Although,I am very proud and relieved that the boys have been so easy to potty train.Sometimes,I think it would be easier to go back and change diapers.Top 5 things I hate about potty training:

1) BEING PEED ON (this is due to them wanting to watch themselves pee)
2) HAVING TO CHECK OUT THE BOYS POOP EVERY TIME THEY POOP BECAUSE
THEY ARE PROUD OF IT
3) GOING TO EVERY BATHROOM IN NORTHERN KENTUCKY NOT ONCE, BUT A
MILLION TIMES EACH
4) TRYING TO HAVE A NICE MEAL WITH HUBBY AND BOYS,BUT THEY ARE YELLING "POTTY" AT THE TOP OF THEIR LUNGS THE WHOLE TIME (DOESN'T MATTER IF WE ARE OUT OR AT HOME)

5) UNNECESSARY FLUSHING
