The Things I Hate About Potty Training

Although,I am very proud and relieved that the boys have been so easy to potty train.Sometimes,I think it would be easier to go back and change diapers.Top 5 things I hate about potty training:

1) BEING PEED ON (this is due to them wanting to watch themselves pee)
2) HAVING TO CHECK OUT THE BOYS POOP EVERY TIME THEY POOP BECAUSE
THEY ARE PROUD OF IT
3) GOING TO EVERY BATHROOM IN NORTHERN KENTUCKY NOT ONCE, BUT A
MILLION TIMES EACH
4) TRYING TO HAVE A NICE MEAL WITH HUBBY AND BOYS,BUT THEY ARE YELLING "POTTY" AT THE TOP OF THEIR LUNGS THE WHOLE TIME (DOESN'T MATTER IF WE ARE OUT OR AT HOME)

5) UNNECESSARY FLUSHING

Good thing you didn't post the "Toy Box" picture, nobody would have seen how handsome those boys are LOL.

I'm here via Galoot, via Preppygirl...

We are in potty training mode, too!

We haven't been peed on. We get a kick out of checking out the poop with him! Our son actually wants no part of public bathrooms, even though we bought a portable collapsible potty that we can bring in there with us, since he won't go on a full size potty yet. He has gotten pretty good at holding it when we're out, so he doesn't have to use the public potty...Can't say I blame him there! Every once in a while my son wants to go potty while we're eating, but I consider it progress that he realizes he has to go, and is willing to interrupt an activity. He's not into the extra flushing, either...

Funny how potty training varies so much from child to child! Good luck.

Petey likes to yell "I GOTTA GO POTTY" in the quietest moments of church (which is better than Kate who used to yell "POOPY!!").

Now look forward to the potty question everytime you are in a new place (Pete wants to check out every potty in town). Good thing he's nice and tall so he can stand up to the bowl!

3carnations -- Thanks for leaving your comment. You are welcome here anytime. It's nice to talk to someone else that is going through the same things I am going through at the same time. :) We bought a portable potty seat BUT they don't fit the public pottys so we took ours back. The boys love all pottys as long as they flush....personally I hate public potty and wish the boys didn't like them so much.

Preppy Girl -- Hi, nice talking to you again. You are very lucky that Petey is tall because the boys have to sit, I'm looking forward to when they can stand. I'm also looking forward to eating dinner without running to the potty 100 times a meal....oh well!! It's a great diet plan. LOL

Kentucky Col - I wish! Then at least there'd be some warning and we could all clear out!
